ANGO DUNGEON uses RPG terminology to make cryptocurrency trading more intuitive and engaging.
Characters
When you create an account, you choose a character. Characters are purely cosmetic and represent your trading persona:
- Wizard: Mystical trader
- Warrior: Aggressive trader
- Ranger: Balanced trader
- Rogue: Quick trader
Characters don't affect trading performance - choose the one you like best!
Weapons (Trading Strategies)
Weapons are trading strategies that determine when to buy and sell. Each weapon has:
- Name: Identifier for the strategy
- Type: Classification (e.g., Momentum, Mean Reversion)
- Stats: Technical indicators used
Weapon Ownership
- Your Weapons: Strategies you create are available across all your accounts
- Default Weapons: Official Freqtrade strategies available to everyone
Weapons are owned by users, not accounts. A weapon you create on your DRY RUN account is also available on your LIVE account.
Dungeons (Trading Sessions)
A Dungeon is an active trading session where your bot executes trades based on your equipped weapon.
Dungeon Parameters

Dungeon Lifecycle
- Preparation: Configure settings
- Active: Bot is trading
- Completed: Session ended, results calculated
Experience Points (EXP)
You earn EXP based on your trading performance:
EXP = Profit × Dungeon Hours- Profitable trades increase EXP
- Longer dungeons multiply EXP earned
- EXP never decreases (losses don't subtract EXP)
Levels and Titles
As you accumulate EXP, you level up and earn titles:

LIVE Mode
- Executes real trades on your exchange
- Uses actual funds
- Real profits and losses
- Requires valid exchange API
Always test strategies in DRY RUN mode before going LIVE. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

ANGO DUNGEON supports trading various cryptocurrency pairs against USDT:
- BTC/USDT
- ETH/USDT
- And more...
The available pairs depend on your exchange and the strategy's configuration.
Backtesting
Before entering a dungeon, you can backtest a weapon against historical data:
- Select a weapon
- Configure backtest parameters
- Run the backtest
- Review results (win rate, profit factor, drawdown)
Backtesting helps you understand how a strategy would have performed in the past.
A strategy that performs well in backtests may not perform the same in live trading due to market conditions, slippage, and other factors.
